Howard University School of Law - Supervising Attorney - Estate Planning and Heirs' Property Clinic

HOWARD UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW invites applications for a Supervising Attorney and Adjunct Professor position to launch a new Estate Planning and Heirs’ Property Clinic to begin in August 2023.  This is a grant-funded position that can be either full or part time, depending on the desires of the successful candidate.  The successful candidate will have extensive experience drafting a variety of estate planning documents, such as wills, trusts, healthcare directives, and powers of attorney as well as an interest in the legal issues created by heirs’ property.  Additionally, the successful candidate will have a passion for teaching aspiring attorneys in a dynamic, diverse environment and should be prepared to spend considerable time outside the classroom working with students.  Bar admission in the District of Columbia is preferred, but not required.
